Regional Accounting & Finance Manager – Egypt & UAE

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Regional Accounting & Finance Manager to lead finance operations for an international franchise brand across Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. The role combines technical accounting, taxation, treasury and franchise‑related financial management to support the company’s continued expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting, financial reporting and control activities for Egypt and UAE entities.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close processes in line with IFRS and local regulations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and performance reporting.
• Handle all taxation matters including UAE VAT, UAE Corporate Tax, Egyptian VAT and withholding tax.
• Direct treasury operations, cash‑flow planning, banking relationships and working‑capital optimisation.
• Monitor franchise financials such as royalties, receivables and compliance.
• Coordinate external and tax audits and ensure regulatory reporting.
• Drive financial process improvements, internal controls and ERP implementation/optimisation.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 10–12 years progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 4–5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience managing finance across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian taxation, statutory reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent command of English.
