Regional Franchise Head (Primary Care), META

About the role

Acino, a pharmaceutical company part of Arcera, is hiring a Regional Franchise Head (Primary Care) for its META portfolio, based in Cairo, Egypt and reporting to the Commercial Director, META. The role leads the strategic direction, business performance and market expansion of the primary care portfolio, focusing on growth in digestive care, cardiovascular and metabolic disorders, and works with sales, marketing, medical, commercial excellence and market access teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional strategies for the primary care portfolio aligned with global and country objectives
• Lead regional marketing plans, product launches and life-cycle management
• Drive brand strategy and monitor brand performance across the region
• Provide strategic input to business development projects and partnerships
• Coach and mentor country teams, lead cross-functional collaboration and foster a culture of continuous learning
• Build relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs and regulatory bodies, and act as liaison between country teams and regional/global leadership
• Promote digital tools, analytics and omnichannel marketing, and allocate resources so marketing investments deliver measurable value

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Pharmacy or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g. MBA) is preferred
• 12+ years of experience in primary care, commercial, sales and marketing management or related fields in the pharmaceutical industry
• Proven track record of driving commercial growth and managing cross-functional teams in complex environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
