Regional PPP Manager, Africa (North, West and Central Africa)

About the role

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is seeking a Regional PPP Manager to lead its public‑private partnership advisory business across North, West and Central Africa. Reporting to Division Directors, you will head a geographically dispersed team, drive business growth and manage key relationships with governments and private‑sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional PPP transaction advisory strategies in collaboration with Division Directors and Country Managers.
• Originate, execute and manage a pipeline of PPP mandates across infrastructure and public‑service sectors, ensuring geographic and strategic balance.
• Achieve gross mobilization targets and regional KPIs, setting impact‑focused business goals.
• Build IFC’s market presence and brand in the PPP sector across the region.
• Lead and mentor a dispersed team of advisors, providing oversight for Corporate Finance Services (CFS) activities.
• Manage relationships with governments, clients and key stakeholders to facilitate policy reforms and investment projects.

Required profile

• Senior professional with extensive experience in PPP advisory and transaction advisory in emerging markets.
• Proven track record of originating and managing large‑scale infrastructure or public‑service projects.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and sector bottlenecks in fragile and conflict‑affected states.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams.
