About the role
The Regional Sales Manager will lead the promotion and sale of BYD electric bus fleets across Egypt. This role involves building high‑level relationships with public authorities and private operators, guiding the transition from internal‑combustion‑engine vehicles to electric solutions, and coordinating tender activities with headquarters.
Key responsibilities
- Develop the commercial vehicle market in Egypt, gathering market intelligence, competitor analysis and pricing strategies for buses and trucks.
- Establish and nurture relationships with local governments, city officials and key transport operators to drive electrification projects.
- Coordinate the regional BYD team—including sales assistants, tender specialists and after‑sales staff—to ensure seamless tender preparation and execution.
- Provide consulting support to cities, helping them design tender specifications and bid packages.
- Lead the preparation of technical‑commercial proposals, pricing strategies and compliance with local regulations.
- Achieve sales volume and profitability targets for the assigned region.
- Monitor pipeline status, report regularly and ensure alignment with company margin objectives.
- Promote health, safety and environmental standards within the team.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager or Country Manager in the automotive sector, preferably with bus and truck sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Willingness to travel up to 50 % of the time.
- Ability to work effectively with multicultural teams.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Strong written and spoken Arabic.
