Regional Sales Manager – Delta

About the role

The Delta Regional Sales Manager will drive the General Trade (GT) strategy for the NIVEA brand across the Delta region. You will be responsible for accelerating business growth, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring the execution of sales fundamentals and KPIs in the retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the GT strategy for NIVEA, identifying and piloting new growth opportunities.
• Build and own the bottom‑up annual business plan for GT across different retail environments.
• Lead distributor teams to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets and KPIs.
• Plan, monitor, and control the sales budget, ensuring compliance with financial standards and approving distributor claims.
• Create monthly sales memos, align with finance and S&CM teams, and share forecasts with distributors.
• Approve and track loyalty schemes with key wholesalers.
• Identify vertical and horizontal growth opportunities in direct retail channels.
• Maintain strong relationships with the top 10 customers, conducting regular visits and performance reviews.
• Hold weekly performance meetings with distributor teams and drive corrective actions.
• Coach and develop distributor teams through on‑the‑job training and continuous feedback.
• Ensure efficient stock management to meet targets while maintaining low NPI stock levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in a similar FMCG role.
• Proven experience in the cosmetics industry (mandatory).
• Strong commercial mindset and solid foundation in sales fundamentals.
• Advanced data‑analytics capability to turn insights into actionable strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• High commitment, ownership, and results‑driven attitude.
