Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking (Cairo & Alexandria)

About the role

The Relationship Manager will oversee a portfolio within the Commercial Banking Unit, driving new business and maintaining existing corporate relationships across Cairo and other governorates in Egypt. The role focuses on credit risk assessment, client servicing, and delivering a broad range of banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Screen prospective customers against the Target Market Plan and ADIB Egypt’s credit risk appetite.
• Provide Business Analysts with client information, financial statements, and data for credit reviews.
• Review and approve credit extensions, ensuring accurate facility structures and compliance with risk policies.
• Maintain regular client contact, resolve internal issues promptly, and support the Service Unit in meeting SLA commitments.
• Conduct periodic client calls and site visits, documenting interactions as required.
• Identify expansion opportunities with existing clients and generate qualified referrals for cross‑selling.
• Monitor past‑due reports, regulatory limits, and Central Bank of Egypt guidelines.
• Track market competition and report findings to unit and department heads.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial or corporate banking, including credit risk assessment.
• Familiarity with ADIB Egypt’s credit policies and Central Bank of Egypt regulations.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of corporate clients across multiple locations.
• Strong analytical skills for reviewing financial statements and credit proposals.
