Relationship Officer – Liabilities (Retail Banking)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Relationship Officer focused on liabilities within our Retail Banking division. The role involves promoting deposit products and cash‑management solutions to SME and retail clients in Egypt, driving new business and deepening existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell liability products, including current and savings accounts, to attract low‑cost deposits.
• Offer payment and collection solutions tailored to clients’ business models.
• Generate new leads through referrals, cold calling and existing pipelines, and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Expand trade business with both borrowing and non‑borrowing clients.
• Provide comprehensive cash‑management services, including collections and payments.
• Encourage adoption of online banking and other digital channels where appropriate.
• Drive new‑to‑bank acquisition to grow the Business Banking presence in target segments.
• Maintain satisfactory account conduct, resolve issues promptly, and contribute to revenue generation.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed assigned monthly targets.
• Experience in acquiring and managing SME or retail banking relationships.
• Strong orientation towards proactive lead generation and business development.
• Capability to handle both borrowing and non‑borrowing client portfolios.
• Focus on delivering high‑quality cash‑management and digital banking solutions.
