Renewable Energy Technical Asset Manager

About the role

Elsewedy Electric IPP is seeking a Renewable Energy Technical Asset Manager to oversee the lifecycle of a solar PV plant, from construction through operation. The role ensures seamless data collection, document management, and performance monitoring to maximize asset value.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor plant construction progress, become technically familiar with equipment, structure, and operation.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover between EPC and O&M contractors.
• Supervise technical management of the asset during operation, optimizing performance against risk profiles.
• Develop and implement a technical management plan aligned with project objectives.
• Track key performance indicators, oversee O&M contractor activities, and ensure scheduled and preventive maintenance.
• Adjust O&M plans as needed, manage spare‑part inventory, and ensure compliance with LTSA/O&M contracts.
• Prepare technical reports for investors and support internal review processes.
• Assist project staff with regulatory, contractual, or commercial issues and participate in stakeholder meetings.
• Support investment and client‑solutions teams in valuation, acquisition, and fundraising activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing solar PV assets through construction and operational phases.
• Strong understanding of EPC and O&M contract structures.
• Ability to monitor KPIs, produce technical reports, and communicate performance forecasts.
• Familiarity with QHSE policies and commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
