Reservations Ticketing Agent

About the role

The Reservations Ticketing Agent will join Flamingo’s travel team in Cairo, handling flight and travel bookings, issuing tickets and supporting customers throughout the reservation process.

Key responsibilities

• Process flight and travel bookings, issue and re‑issue tickets, and manage reservation changes in line with airline and company policies.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and in‑person, providing accurate itineraries, fare quotations and travel information.
• Coordinate with airlines and travel partners to confirm services, resolve booking issues and ensure timely ticketing and documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records, process payments and support sales initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive, service‑focused office environment and assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Strong spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with reservation systems (e.g., GDS such as Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre).
• Proven customer service skills with a client‑focused attitude.
• Knowledge of travel and tourism practices, basic fare rules and ticketing procedures.
• Sales aptitude, including upselling and meeting revenue targets.
• Previous experience in a travel agency, airline or tour operator preferred.
• Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business or a related field is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
