Room Attendant - Nile City Towers, Cairo

About the role

Accor is hiring a Room Attendant for its hotel in Cairo, Egypt, to join the hospitality team and help create exceptional guest experiences. The position involves keeping rooms and public spaces clean and tidy to the highest standards, with a focus on attention to detail and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties with precision and efficiency, meeting brand standards
• Clean and service allocated guest rooms and public spaces to a high standard of presentation and hygiene
• Inspect rooms carefully so guests arrive to immaculate accommodations
• Restock guest supplies, amenities and information materials in bedrooms and bathrooms according to room type
• Provide friendly, professional service to guests and respond promptly to their requests
• Keep an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages or maintenance issues
• Follow safety, health and hygiene protocols
• Work with housekeeping and other departments and adapt to changing priorities

Required profile

• Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to prioritize several tasks
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Keen eye for detail and a passion for quality and cleanliness
• Physical fitness for active, hands-on work, including constant standing and walking, lifting up to 30 lbs and occasional use of ladders and stairs
• Ability to work a rotational schedule including weekends and holidays
• Eligibility to work in Egypt and willingness to follow local employment regulations

Required skills

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn hospitality cleaning standards and guest service protocols
• Ability to work independently while staying responsive to team needs and supervisors
• Problem-solving and resilience under pressure
