Sales Analyst - Digitalization

About the role

Mars is hiring a Sales Analyst for its digitalization function in Cairo. The role owns the regional sales value, volume, growth and profitability objectives, turns annual plans into period, channel, territory and team targets, and leads the regional field organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own regional sales value, volume, growth and profitability, and translate annual plans into period, channel, territory and team targets
• Build an integrated growth plan by geography, channel, customer and category, including core chocolate, gum, salty snacks and cereal
• Expand direct and indirect reach, distribution and active outlets, working with Route to Market and Channel Development
• Deliver availability, assortment, visibility, merchandising, pricing and promotion standards, and improve chiller, counter-top unit and display deployment
• Build relationships with regional wholesalers and priority customers, lead negotiations and resolve service issues
• Improve route productivity, strike rate, drop size and cost to serve, and track the return on approved investments
• Manage regional execution with service providers and distributors, and partner performance with Finance and Supply Chain on collections, credit, stock and forecasts
• Lead and coach sales managers and the wider field organization, set objectives, recruit and build succession
• Integrate the regional team across the Mars and Kellanova businesses and collaborate with Channel Development, Customer Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and People & Organization
• Run daily follow-up, weekly reviews and period business reviews, using sales systems and dashboards
• Uphold the Mars Five Principles, commercial controls, data quality, company policies and field safety standards
