Sales Assistant – Retail (Mall of Arabia)

About the role

The Retail Sales Representative at IKEA in Mall of Arabia is responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You will engage with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right products while maintaining high merchandising standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of the assigned area to ensure correct price labels, product information tags and visual presentation.
• Monitor stock levels, recommend replenishment orders and coordinate with the Procurement Executive.
• Engage customers with empathy, gather feedback and act on their requests.
• Prepare pro‑forma invoices and advise customers on new arrivals and promotions.
• Promote sales by identifying opportunities, offering alternatives and suggesting add‑on items to meet targets.
• Report slow‑moving or non‑selling items and propose actions to improve turnover.
• Maintain full product displays according to IKEA merchandising guidelines.
