Sales Associate – Retail Fashion

About the role

The Sales Associate will work on the shop floor of a Zara store, delivering prompt and courteous service to customers. The role focuses on meeting customer needs, driving sales through up‑selling and cross‑selling, and maintaining the store’s visual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, ensuring their inquiries are answered quickly and in line with quality and service standards.
• Promote additional products through up‑selling, cross‑selling and recommending alternatives, and follow up on customer requests.
• Receive shipments, perform accurate stock keeping, conduct physical and electronic inventory checks, and report any security concerns or incidents.
• Replenish merchandise, keep shelves and the shop floor clean, tidy and aligned with Zara’s brand image.
• Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately and handle customer payments.
• Take precise measurements for fashion alterations, apply the appropriate price list and coordinate alteration work.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
