Sales Engineer – Water Pumps & Irrigation Solutions

About the role

ATEC is looking for a results‑driven Sales Engineer to join its Alexandria branch. You will act as the technical bridge between our innovative engineering solutions and customers in water management, irrigation and energy sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients, advising on water pumps, irrigation systems and related applications.
• Identify new business opportunities across mechanical/electrical engineering, oil & gas and energy markets.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospects and existing customers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design customized solutions that meet client specifications.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and negotiate contracts to close sales.
• Achieve and exceed defined sales targets, contributing to overall revenue growth.
• Provide post‑sale technical support and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and new product developments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably in water‑related or energy sectors.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear business value.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
