Sales Manager – Egyptian Market

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our commercial activities in the Egyptian market. You will be responsible for shaping the sales strategy, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Egypt.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key customers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and foodservice operators.
• Identify new business opportunities in retail, HoReCa, private‑label, and industrial segments.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, pricing, payment terms, and promotional activities.
• Prepare annual sales budgets, forecasts, and business development plans.
• Monitor sales performance, margins, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with production, supply chain, finance, quality, and marketing teams.
• Recruit, coach, and develop a local sales team while establishing effective reporting and performance management systems.
• Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of overall sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
• Strong background in the FMCG sector, preferably food manufacturing, bakery, packaged foods, snacks or frozen foods.
• Proven track record in building sales channels, increasing market share and managing key accounts.
• Extensive network within Egyptian supermarket chains, distributors, HoReCa and foodservice companies.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with sales reporting or CRM systems.
