Sales Manager - Hotel Groups & Corporate

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria is looking for a Sales Manager to implement the marketing plan and maximise room occupancy and average rate from corporate and group segments in local and designated overseas markets. The position is based in Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Make telephone and personal sales calls on accounts and follow up promptly with appropriate action
• Solicit and service Travel Agent, Wholesale, Tour Operator, Private Reserve, Volume Account, Worldwide Corporate, Group and Transient accounts
• Follow up on all leads and generate group travel and individual leads for the WSO and other Four Seasons hotels
• Achieve weekly prospecting goals consistently
• Create permanent files for groups with strong room-night potential
• Negotiate with clients to achieve maximum revenue and profit while satisfying their needs
• Evaluate, solicit, sell and confirm business, and qualify leads and accounts for profitability
• Sell all hotel services and maintain an effective correspondence plan
• Report monthly against plan and goal, and inform managers promptly of significant issues

Required profile

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience
• Good personal and professional references
• Well organised, detail oriented, able to work independently
• Displays initiative, perseverance and analytical skills

Required skills

• Reading, writing and oral English
• Working computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Delphi, Internet and Opera
