About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Team Leader to drive performance in the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. You will lead a diverse sales team, develop strategic plans, and build lasting client relationships to exceed ambitious targets.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and manage the sales team to achieve and surpass FMCG sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans for market growth.
- Monitor and analyse sales metrics and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development to align sales initiatives with company objectives.
- Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for senior management, providing actionable insights.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Sales Team Leader or similar role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics, sales principles and customer relationship management.
- Excellent leadership and people‑management abilities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales data analysis and performance metrics.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
