Salesforce Technical Lead

About the role

Imdad is looking for a Salesforce Technical Lead in Cairo to lead the end-to-end technical design and delivery of Salesforce solutions, including custom development, integrations and platform configurations. The role covers architecting scalable solutions across Salesforce clouds, governing the technical quality of the org and leading a team of developers and administrators.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models and solution designs.
• Develop and review Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce pages and Flows.
• Own technical governance of the Salesforce org: code quality, release management and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
• Lead and mentor developers and administrators, conduct code reviews and give technical guidance.
• Design integrations with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (e.g. Jitterbit) and platform events.
• Work with Business Analysts and Product Owners to align solutions with business goals.
• Manage technical risks, stay up to date with Salesforce releases and ensure compliance with security, data governance and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or senior role.
• Proven experience designing and building integrations with external systems.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce data modelling, security model and governor limits.
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Salesforce DX, Git, Copado, Gearset).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum; leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Required certification: Salesforce Platform Developer I; preferred: Platform Developer II, Application Architect or System Architect.
