Sanitaryware Estimator

About the role

The Sanitaryware Estimator will prepare accurate cost estimates for complete sanitaryware packages, supporting the sales and tendering process. This role involves analysing project drawings, specifications, BOQs and supplier quotations to deliver reliable pricing information.

Key responsibilities

• Study tender documents, drawings, BOQs and specifications related to sanitaryware packages.
• Identify project scope covering fixtures, faucets, mixers, shower systems, bathtubs, accessories, kitchen sinks, drainage systems and concealed cisterns.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and prepare material take‑offs for all sanitaryware items.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from local and international suppliers, calculating product cost, freight, customs duties, logistics and installation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, design, MEP and project teams to validate specifications and pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost sheets, estimation summaries and pricing comparisons.
• Support commercial offer preparation and tender submissions.
• Propose value‑engineering alternatives while maintaining quality and design requirements.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date cost database for sanitaryware products and market pricing.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in sanitaryware or plumbing fixtures estimation, bathroom solutions, interior fit‑out or building products.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of sanitaryware products and plumbing fixtures.
• Ability to read architectural, plumbing (MEP) and interior design drawings.
• Proficient in BOQ preparation and quantity take‑off.
• Good understanding of costing, pricing, procurement and commercial evaluation.
