SAP ABAP Analyst – S/4HANA, RAP & BTP

About the role

We are looking for an SAP ABAP Analyst who will design, develop and deliver scalable SAP solutions on S/4HANA, ABAP RAP and SAP BTP. The role involves working on enterprise transformation programmes, ensuring clean‑core architectures and cloud‑native extensibility while collaborating with functional and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy SAP ABAP solutions on S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
• Build applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and side‑by‑side extensions with SAP BTP CAP.
• Implement services with OData V4, CDS Views and business services.
• Design clean‑core compliant solutions following SAP extensibility principles.
• Create integrations between SAP and non‑SAP systems using SAP BTP APIs, destination services and Event Mesh.
• Support cloud‑native architecture patterns and event‑driven designs.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and collaborate with functional consultants and architects.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, performance tuning and ensure coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews, prepare technical specifications and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Proven experience with S/4HANA and ABAP for HANA environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with ABAP RAP, SAP BTP (ABAP environment) and CAP.
• Understanding of clean‑core and SAP extensibility models.
