SAP Basis Architect

About the role

Valleysoft is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Architect to shape and maintain the SAP platform architecture that supports critical enterprise systems. You will ensure stability, resilience, and operational excellence across development, QA, and production landscapes while collaborating with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise SAP architecture across all environments.
• Lead SAP Basis administration, including installations, configurations, upgrades, migrations, and system refreshes.
• Architect and support SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP Fiori landscapes.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, kernel upgrades, patch management, and high‑availability/disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Manage SAP transport management (CTS/CTS+, ChaRM) and monitor system performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and platform reliability.
• Define architecture standards, governance, and best practices for SAP Basis operations.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and documentation for SAP administrators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of SAP Basis administration experience, including 3+ years in a lead or architect role.
• Proven experience designing and supporting large‑scale enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and migrations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
