SAP Functional SME – Project Systems (PS)

About the role

The SAP Functional SME – PS is responsible for ensuring that SAP Project Systems solutions are functionally correct and aligned with business requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate operational needs into robust SAP configurations, focusing on Project Accounting and Project Planning.

Key responsibilities

• Validate business requirements and workflows with stakeholders to guarantee functional correctness of SAP PS solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on system behavior, functional design, and solution delivery.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement effective business process solutions.
• Lead documentation initiatives, including process analysis, mapping, and modeling.
• Identify and drive opportunities for workflow optimization and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert, sharing knowledge and best practices within the team.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in SAP PS, especially Project Accounting.
• Proficiency in SAP PS Project Planning & Scoping is preferred.
• Strong background in business process analysis, mapping, and modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to lead functional improvements and collaborate across teams.
