SAP Project Systems Consultant

About the role

Advansys is hiring an SAP Project Systems consultant for its Offshoring Services department, working in a hybrid workplace. The role covers configuring and maintaining SAP PS master and transactional data, supporting data migration, performing results analysis and cost/revenue planning, and integrating SAP PS with other SAP modules.

Key responsibilities

• Configure SAP PS structures (WBS, networks, activities, milestones) in ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA, including cost planning, budgeting and availability control
• Integrate SAP PS with FICO (project settlement, results analysis), MM (procurement), SD (milestone billing) and PP/PM
• Lead end-to-end implementation from blueprint to go-live, resolve functional defects and handle change requests after go-live
• Implement best practices for ETO, MTO and capital projects, and validate data migration for projects, WBS and budgets
• Run unit testing and system integration testing, and create functional specifications (RICEFW objects) and user training manuals
• Support cost and revenue planning, maintain the Budget Information System and generate hierarchy reports for cost and revenue tracking
• Implement project closing and project extension according to standard SAP guidelines

Required profile

• Minimum 7-8+ years of SAP PS experience, including at least 2-4 full life-cycle implementations
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or MBA
• Strong knowledge of EPC, manufacturing or professional services industries
• Strong analytical, communication and client-facing skills

Required skills

• SAP ECC 6.0 and hands-on SAP S/4HANA PS (including simplified transactions and Fiori apps)
• SAP certification in Project System (PS)
• Knowledge of SAP EPPM (Enterprise Project Portfolio Management)
