School Nurse (Academic Year 2026‑2027)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate School Nurse to join Madinaty Integrated Language School for the academic year 2026‑2027. The nurse will provide primary health care, support student wellbeing, and collaborate with staff and families.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first aid and ongoing medical care to students and staff, including administering prescribed medications and treatments.
• Monitor and assess students’ health conditions, maintain accurate health records, and develop care plans for chronic or special medical needs.
• Educate the school community on hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention and health‑related topics.
• Coordinate with parents, teachers, and external healthcare professionals regarding student health concerns.
• Ensure the school clinic remains clean, safe, and compliant with health regulations.
• Participate in health screenings, emergency preparedness drills and school health programmes.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution.
• Valid nursing licence or registration with the relevant authority.
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and health issues.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Collaborative attitude and a compassionate, patient demeanour.
