Sea Freight Specialist

About the role

As a Sea Freight Specialist at Aramex, you will be the primary point of contact for clients seeking sea freight solutions, ensuring their shipments are managed efficiently from quotation to delivery. You will work closely with the sales team and overseas offices to provide tailored freight services that meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process export sea freight requests for quotation (RFQ) and manage ongoing shipments.
• Ensure freight arrives on schedule and communicate timely updates to customers.
• Liaise with overseas offices, shipping lines, and booking agents to coordinate vessel space and documentation.
• Monitor shipment progress, identify delays, and keep clients informed.
• Coordinate with agents, carriers, and clients for cargo collections and deliveries.
• Generate accurate invoices for clients and ensure timely billing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sea freight operations, preferably in export handling.
• Strong understanding of shipping line procedures and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients, agents, and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
