Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer ensures the safety of guests, employees, and property at the Sheraton Sharm Hotel Resort. You will patrol the premises, monitor security systems, and respond swiftly to emergencies while maintaining a professional presence.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the hotel and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire‑life safety systems.
• Conduct daily hazard inspections and respond to accidents, providing first aid/CPR or contacting EMS.
• Assist guests and staff during emergencies, defuse disturbances, and escort unwelcome persons.
• Prepare detailed incident reports, shift summaries, and loss‑prevention documentation.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security and property information.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or run for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb (75 lb with assistance).
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and clear, courteous communication.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training, and licensing requirements.
