Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer will safeguard guests, associates, and property at Portaluna’s first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. You will be the visible presence that ensures a safe, welcoming environment while supporting the hotel’s vibrant, lifestyle‑focused brand.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate risks.
• Control entry and exit points, verify credentials, and restrict access to authorized areas.
• Respond swiftly to security breaches, emergencies, fire alarms, medical incidents, and provide first aid when needed.
• Maintain accurate incident logs, access‑control reports, and patrol records.
• Assist guests and associates courteously, handling inquiries while preserving confidentiality.
• Collaborate with hotel management and departments (front desk, housekeeping) to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
• Follow all security protocols, safety standards, and stay current with fire‑safety and emergency‑response training.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management to support overall hotel operations.
