Senior Accountant – Costing & Financial Reporting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the full accounting cycle, ensure compliance with GAAP, and drive cost management initiatives. The role will support month‑end, year‑end, budgeting, forecasting and audit activities while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and monthly/annual closing.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and periodic management reports.
• Conduct costing activities such as cost analysis, cost control, and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes and provide insightful expense variance analysis.
• Assist in the annual audit, preparing financial statements and related notes.
• Oversee fixed‑asset accounting, including recording, depreciation, and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Proven experience in GCC markets (UAE, KSA, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
• Expertise in costing and cost‑control methodologies.
• In‑depth knowledge of GAAP compliance.
