Senior Accountant

About the role

Anabtawi Sweets, a leading brand in the sweets and bakeries sector, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team at the factory in 10th of Ramadan City. The role focuses on cost accounting, inventory control, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review daily accounting entries for purchases, sales, inventory, and expenses.
• Prepare and analyse production costs and cost sheets, monitoring inventory movements and reconciling variances.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, support tax return preparation and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Utilise ERP accounting systems efficiently for all financial processes.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of accounting experience, including prior senior accountant roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce with an accounting major.
• Preferably resident in 10th of Ramadan City or nearby areas.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, especially in manufacturing/FMCG.
