Senior Accountant – KSA

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant based in Cairo to lead comprehensive financial analysis and technical accounting for our operations in Saudi Arabia. You will act as a key financial partner to the MENA leadership team, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse country P&L, margin, and Adjusted EBITDA; identify variance drivers.
• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts across multiple KSA entities.
• Own the General Ledger, perform complex reconciliations, manage accruals, provisions, and aged GRIR balances.
• Provide data‑driven insights to support commercial decisions and risk mitigation.
• Translate financial data into management reports in line with IFRS and KSA GAAP.
• Model cash flows, forecast liquidity, and monitor working‑capital cycles.
• Serve as primary liaison for external and internal audits, preparing audit files and statutory statements.
• Manage month‑end close, flash reporting, and group submissions with zero latency.
• Execute special projects such as system enhancements and IFRS mapping updates.
• Coordinate consolidated budgets for multiple legal entities.
• Ensure full compliance with KSA tax laws, including CIT, VAT, WHT, Zakat, and e‑invoicing (FATOORA) filings.

Required profile

• Senior‑level accounting professional with strong technical expertise.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS, KSA GAAP, and local tax regulations.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and month‑end close.
• Hands‑on experience with audit coordination and statutory reporting.
• Ability to work independently and support cross‑functional teams.
