Senior Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to ensure accurate and compliant accounting operations across multiple functions. The role involves managing costing processes, overseeing general ledger and intercompany accounts, and supporting month‑end and year‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review reconciliations, investigate variances, and clear outstanding items promptly.
• Manage vehicle CBU shipment costing, spare parts costing, supplier payables, customs‑related accounts, and inventory accounting.
• Coordinate annual stock‑taking for vehicles and spare parts.
• Record bank transactions, reconcile transitory accounts, and manage intercompany accounts for local affiliates.
• Conduct quarterly internal control checks and implement process improvements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, prepare reporting packages, and assist with audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a reputable university.
• 2‑3 years of experience in accounting or auditing.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
