Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer / Architect

About the role

Arrow Digital is seeking a senior AEM Developer/Architect to design, build, and optimise Adobe Experience Manager solutions that power its customer‑focused digital experiences. The role combines deep AEM expertise with modern headless and front‑end technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end headless solutions using AEM as a content source and React/Next.js for rendering.
• Design SSR and SSG architectures with Next.js for high‑performance, SEO‑friendly sites.
• Define and implement AEM headless content models (Content Fragments, Models, APIs) for omnichannel delivery.
• Develop scalable AEM components, templates, workflows and dispatcher configurations.
• Guide AEM Cloud implementations and collaborate with DevOps, security and system teams on deployments and optimisations.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, code reviews and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• Significant hands‑on experience with AEM 6.x or AEM as a Cloud Service, including Sites and Assets.
• Strong Java/Java EE, OSGi, Apache Sling and HTL (Sightly) development background.
• Proven experience with React, Next.js, SSR/SSG and API‑driven integrations.
• Solid understanding of caching, dispatcher, CDN, load balancing and performance tuning.
• Experience leading teams in Agile/Scrum environments and mentoring developers.
