Senior Android Developer

About the role

Khatmah, the leading Arabic Islamic mobile application with over 25 million users worldwide, is seeking a Senior Android Developer to enhance its suite of Quran‑related features. You will join a fast‑growing team focused on delivering a seamless Mushaf experience, personalized Quran sessions, prayer times, Athkar, Qibla, and more.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Android applications that align with Khatmah’s product roadmap.
• Implement Android components such as intents, services, threading, activities, and fragments following best practices.
• Integrate remote data sources (XML, JSON, APIs) and ensure smooth interaction with backend services.
• Apply Android Material Design guidelines to create intuitive, user‑friendly interfaces.
• Publish and update applications on the Google Play Store, monitoring performance and user feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience developing Android applications.
• Proven track record of at least one app released on Google Play.
• Experience working with web‑application architectures and data integration.
