Senior Android Developer

About the role

Geidea is seeking a passionate Senior Android Developer to join its Mobile Applications team. You will lead the design and development of high‑performance Android apps that power our fintech solutions, working closely with product, design, backend and QA teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end delivery of complex app modules, from design through deployment, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Design and implement clean, modular architecture using MVVM and Clean Architecture, including shared Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) components.
• Build rich user interfaces with Jetpack Compose and Compose Multiplatform, collaborating with UI/UX designers.
• Integrate and optimise RESTful APIs with robust error handling, caching and offline support.
• Apply modern Android practices such as Coroutines, Flow, Hilt/Koin, Navigation Component, Room and WorkManager.
• Monitor app stability and performance using Firebase Crashlytics, Analytics and Performance Monitoring, driving continuous improvements.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of hands‑on Android development experience with strong Kotlin proficiency.
• Practical experience on Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile projects.
• Deep knowledge of Jetpack Compose, MVVM, dependency injection, coroutines and flow.
• Proven ability to design modular, feature‑based architectures.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling data synchronization.
• Familiarity with Firebase suite and Mixpanel for analytics and stability.
