Senior Architect – Egypt

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead design development for projects in Egypt. The role is office‑based in Sheikh Zayed City and involves close coordination with our Qatar office to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality architectural solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review architectural design packages from Concept Design (CD) through Design Development (DD), Tender, and IFC stages.
• Develop architectural solutions that satisfy client requirements, project objectives, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with Structural, MEP, Life Safety, and other disciplines to deliver fully integrated designs.
• Review and resolve authority comments and manage submission requirements.
• Prepare and review municipality submission packages and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, authority regulations, and company procedures.
• Produce and review high‑quality architectural drawings, details, schedules, and specifications.
• Support and guide junior architects and drafting teams.
• Coordinate daily with the Qatar office to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
• Participate in technical reviews, design coordination meetings, and internal quality checks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 8 years of architectural consultancy experience.
• Strong experience in Concept Design, Design Development, Tender, and IFC packages.
• Experience with authority submissions and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Good understanding of Qatar or Gulf regulations and design requirements is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
