Senior Technical Program Manager

About the role

BlackStone eIT is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of a complex, cross-functional product workstream. The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering and stakeholder management, turning strategic priorities into executable plans, removing blockers and ensuring high-quality delivery at pace. It is not a coordination role: you will drive programs with ambiguity, make judgment calls under pressure and hold engineering and QA teams accountable to outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the program end-to-end, from requirements alignment through release and post-launch review
• Coordinate delivery across Engineering, Project Managers, QA, Design, Business Analysis and DevOps
• Map dependencies, identify risks and mitigate them proactively
• Communicate technical progress clearly to product and business leaders
• Own go/no-go readiness, release criteria and deployment coordination
• Surface blockers early, drive their resolution and maintain delivery momentum
• Report program health via Azure DevOps and Jira (sprint tracking, velocity, milestone burn-down)
• Contribute to process improvement across the delivery function

Required profile

• Proven track record owning complex, multi-team technical programs in a senior capacity
• Strong technical fluency: able to discuss architecture, technical debt and integration risks with engineers without writing code
• Experience in regulated, compliance-sensitive or enterprise environments
• Exceptional stakeholder management and strong written and verbal communication
• Comfort working in ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information

Required skills

• Agile/Scrum, Kanban and hybrid delivery frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and/or Jira at program level
