Senior BIM Electrical Engineer

About the role

Kemet Corporation is seeking a Senior BIM Electrical Engineer to lead the implementation of BIM standards for electrical design on construction projects in Heliopolis, Cairo. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality BIM deliverables and support the professional growth of junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of BIM standards and processes for electrical engineering.
• Collaborate with project teams to define BIM objectives, workflows, and deliverable requirements.
• Review BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards and quality criteria.
• Provide technical support and guidance on BIM‑related matters throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and deliver BIM training programs for internal staff.
• Conduct quality control checks on BIM deliverables.
• Mentor junior BIM engineers and support their professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry.
• Solid experience producing shop drawings across multiple projects.
• Construction industry background is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Navisworks.
