Senior Compliance Investigator

About the role

Centene Corporation is seeking a Senior Compliance Investigator to lead enterprise‑wide compliance investigations across all business units, health plans, and corporate functions. Reporting to the VP of Compliance Investigations, you will develop, implement, and continuously monitor the Compliance Investigations Program while supporting the Director of Ethics & Investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct compliance and ethics investigations, including allegation assessment, document review, witness interviews, fact analysis, root‑cause analysis, and report preparation.
• Evaluate allegations against federal and state regulations, Centene Code of Conduct, and internal policies.
• Maintain investigation workplans, adhere to protocols and timelines, and meet case review quotas.
• Provide weekly case summaries and timely oral and written reports to senior management.
• Document and manage case files in centralized case management systems (e.g., Archer) following company policy.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months (4 years) of relevant experience in compliance investigations or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations and corporate ethics standards.
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations independently and present clear, defensible findings.
