Senior Consultant – Cyber Security & ISMS Implementation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to lead cyber security initiatives and ISMS implementations for our clients in Egypt. The role involves assessing security architectures, guiding ISO 27001 projects, and delivering comprehensive security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review systems architecture and design to identify and improve information security controls.
• Assess current security posture, define future state, and create implementation road‑maps for IT security projects.
• Develop and manage enterprise security strategies and oversee solution implementation.
• Advise clients on ISO 27001 standards and lead ISO 27001 implementation projects.
• Conduct risk assessments, propose treatment plans, and produce detailed security assessment reports.
• Design and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and baseline standards.
• Perform application source‑code reviews and penetration testing activities.
• Identify new business opportunities and support end‑to‑end conversion.
• Maintain strong relationships with client personnel at all levels and manage multiple assignments across industries.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of hands‑on experience in ISMS implementation and IT security consulting.
• Experience with firewalls, anti‑virus systems, IDS/IPS, security management platforms, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in conducting penetration tests, VAPT, and structured risk assessments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; security certifications (CISA, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CHFI, GIAC, CCIE) are a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft, Cisco, Unix/Linux security solutions and GRC/SIEM tools.
