Senior Cost Accountant

About the role

EVA Pharma, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Senior Cost Accountant to join its finance team. The role contributes to the company's mission of improving human health and well-being, with a focus on accurate cost tracking and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost reports on manufacturing processes, tracking costs and expenses accurately.
• Conduct product cost analysis, including bill of materials, labor costs and overhead rates to support pricing decisions.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, running regular audits to ensure accurate valuation.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting by providing insights on cost trends and variances.
• Work with cross-functional teams to find cost-reduction opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls while keeping financial records accurate.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Experience with Oracle is a plus.
