Senior Cost Control Accountant

About the role

Lychee is seeking a senior‑level Cost Control Accountant to lead the cost accounting function for its fast‑growing FMCG operations. You will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and optimising cost structures to protect the company’s financial health and support data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily cost accounting activities, including maintaining cost rates, month‑end closing and variance analysis.
• Monitor production processes to ensure accurate product cost calculation and review standard versus actual costs.
• Analyse production variances, provide insights and recommend cost‑effective measures.
• Design and implement process improvements to boost productivity within the cost accounting function.
• Support implementation of cost accounting systems, internal controls and calculate COGS in line with inventory cost flow methods.
• Participate in monthly physical stock‑taking for the factory and retail stores.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of cost control experience in the FMCG industry.
• Hands‑on experience with costing and stock‑control modules of ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost structures and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
