Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Owner’s Representative

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the electrical design of Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, Light Current and Low Current systems while acting as the Owner’s Representative. You will ensure design integrity, technical compliance and smooth coordination between contractors and consultants throughout all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for LV, MV, Light Current and Low Current systems.
• Serve as Owner’s Representative, aligning technical requirements between contractors and consultants.
• Review, approve and validate design drawings, specifications, shop drawings and calculations.
• Perform short‑circuit, arc‑flash and coordination studies using SKM/ETAP.
• Prepare fire‑alarm layouts, light‑current system designs and conduct code‑compliance and hazardous‑area classification studies.
• Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes, safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and multidisciplinary teams for system integration.
• Conduct site inspections and technical meetings to verify execution against approved designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Prepare project documentation, technical reports, schedules and cost estimates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in electrical design engineering (consultancy or development preferred).
• Strong hands‑on experience with LV, MV, Light Current and Low Current systems.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
