Senior Embedded Engineer

About the role

eInfochips, an Arrow Company, is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer to develop real‑time embedded software and firmware for various product life‑cycle projects. The role is based in Maadi Technology Park, Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Develop real‑time embedded software/firmware applications and perform unit, functional and system testing.
• Analyze low‑level requirements, troubleshoot module issues, and document specifications, design, test cases and release notes.
• Follow defined software development processes and adapt to new programming languages as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong ownership, analytical mindset, and ability to work closely with electrical teams.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and high personal integrity.

Required skills

• Embedded systems development with RTOS (real‑time concepts, multitasking).
• Programming in C (advanced) and C++ (nice to have); scripting with Shell/Python (nice to have).
• Experience with development tools: debuggers, SCA tools, GIT, SVN, JIRA.
• Knowledge of communication protocols: UART, RS232/485, SPI, I2C, USB, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet.
• Work on ARM Cortex‑M0/M3/M4 platforms from Qualcomm, TI, NXP, ST, etc.
