Senior Finance Manager – Media Industry

About the role

Augustus Media is looking for a senior‑level finance professional to lead its financial operations across the media business. The role will own the full accounting cycle, treasury, tax compliance and reporting while providing strategic insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, preparing accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions to ensure reliable records and efficient processing.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and liquidity, and produce cash‑flow forecasts.
• Manage treasury activities, banking relationships and liquidity planning.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax regulations, VAT, withholding and payroll tax.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain robust internal controls.
• Support cost optimisation, supplier invoice review and procurement processes.
• Collaborate with commercial and operational teams on revenue recognition and financial analysis.

Required profile

• Significant experience in finance within the media or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage month‑end and year‑end close cycles.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on budget vs. actual and performance reporting.
• Experience coordinating audits and implementing internal controls.
