About the role
We are looking for a Senior General Ledger Accountant to manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, and support the finance team in a construction environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including prepaid expenses, provisions and other closing requirements.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reflected in the general ledger.
- Maintain fixed asset records, track purchases, record costs, and calculate depreciation.
- Reconcile accounts of internal and external related parties monthly, communicate with accountants and settle accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting information.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum five years of accounting experience.
- Prefer experience in a construction company.
