Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. The role ensures high availability, security, performance, and scalability across servers, virtualization, backup, networking, and database platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including AD, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
• Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi clusters, create VMs, handle migrations, replication, and disaster recovery.
• Administer enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam or Acronis, define policies, and conduct regular recovery tests.
• Configure and monitor FortiGate and Sophos firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and access controls.
• Maintain Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and related security settings.
• Install, configure, and tune Microsoft SQL Server, perform backups, restores, and query optimization.
• Oversee NAS and shared storage, manage permissions, quotas, and capacity planning.
• Implement monitoring tools, analyze alerts, and keep infrastructure documentation up to date.
• Apply security hardening, endpoint protection, vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in infrastructure administration.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex server, network, and database issues.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on reliability and security.
