Senior Interior Design Engineer

About the role

The Senior Interior Design Engineer will lead the creation of interior design concepts, detailed layouts and construction‑ready packages for a variety of projects. You will work closely with architectural, structural, MEP and other engineering teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, layouts and detailed design packages.
• Prepare and review technical drawings such as plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans and joinery details.
• Coordinate interior design work with architectural, structural, MEP and other disciplines.
• Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E).
• Review shop drawings, material submittals and technical submissions.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during execution.
• Mentor junior designers/engineers and ensure timely delivery of design packages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• 5–8 years of experience in interior design and fit‑out projects.
• Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, materials and detailing.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.
• Experience in consultancy or engineering firms is preferred.
