Senior Interior Designer

About the role

YBA Architects is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead the design scope of assigned projects from concept through final delivery. The role blends creative vision with technical expertise to produce innovative, functional interiors that meet client expectations and studio standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine interior design concepts, narratives, and presentation packages.
• Lead projects through Concept Design, Schematic Design, and Design Development phases.
• Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and decorative elements while respecting budget constraints.
• Manage design packages, coordinate with technical teams, consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews, addressing comments and revisions.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across all design deliverables.
• Mentor junior designers, review their work, and foster a collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior interior designer handling end‑to‑end project phases.
• Ability to guide junior designers and provide technical feedback.
• Strong understanding of client requirements, project objectives, and budget management.
