Senior Internal Process Engineer

About the role

Virtual Worker Now is building a Process Excellence function as it shifts from a managed virtual‑assistant business to a managed AI‑and‑human operating company. The Senior Internal Process Engineer will own the internal side of this function, creating a measurable view of operations, driving improvements and proving the results.

Key responsibilities

• Own the enterprise process register, including taxonomy, criticality ratings and improvement backlog.
• Lead current‑state discovery using interviews, workshops, SIPOC, value‑stream mapping and BPMN.
• Establish baselines for cycle time, effort, volume, capacity, utilisation, error/rework, SLA attainment and cost.
• Run root‑cause and constraint analysis (Pareto, 5 Whys, FMEA, time‑and‑value analysis).
• Design future‑state processes and implement them in live operations, translating requirements into workflow, automation and AI‑assisted steps.
• Validate post‑change performance, transition processes to operational control and coach a Junior Process Engineer.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, continuous improvement or business process management.
• Proven track record of measurement, analysis, implementation and benefits realisation beyond simple mapping.
• Strong ability to influence operators and leaders without formal authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations or a related quantitative discipline.
• Professional working English.
