Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with at least six years of experience to lead the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems across diverse projects. The role combines technical expertise with leadership to drive engineering excellence from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and development of mechanical systems and components using CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and analyses to meet performance, cost, and safety targets.
• Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, quality, and project‑management teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Guide prototype testing, validate results, and refine designs based on feedback.
• Identify and resolve complex design and production issues efficiently.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and new materials.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth.
• Contribute to project planning, risk management, and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong advantage.
• Minimum six years of progressive mechanical design experience, especially in HVAC.
• Deep understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on innovation and quality.
• Proven leadership in technical teams and experience in multidisciplinary environments.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
